The Choice of Light

choosing-light

sunset while visiting Hawaii

The twilight was just falling,
yet I heard the joyous calling…
here comes a new morning,
here comes renewed life.

No more doubt, no confusion,
no more fear or sadness in my heart…
I choose to be a warrior,
a warrior of the Light.

Oh Birther, Father-Mother,
Creator of All That Moves In Light…
I AM coming home now,
you are in my sight.

Because you are, I AM,
there can be no separation, no…
it was all illusion,
I see now we are One.

From the Central Sun we’ve come,
as rays, extending Divine Light…
unto all Life,
self-fulfilling Light.

With the Phoenix arising,
I leave the falseness far behind…
I choose to awaken,
a Life of Love that shines.

I Am Whole, I Am Complete,
I Am the heart of Love so sweet…
clothed by Mother Earth,
within, Divine Light.

Whatsoever we soweth,
that shall we also reap…
so let your Light shine,
it leads beyond all time.

What we believe in our heart,
that shall it be done unto us now…
choose always with Love,
and Heaven shall reveal on Earth.

Yes the Light is sure to come,
right here, right now, through you and me…
the Truth will make you free,
if you choose it you shall be.

We are One with All That Is,
it’s our birth-right, and Divine Gift…
so isolate no one,
for there is only One… Self.

I am you, and you are me,
look from your heart and you will see…
we are the same Life,
we are the same Light.

Searching within, we Listen well.

and the rest of the poem went down the tubes-so I deleted it. But I loved yours. Thank you for reminding me of poetry. It’s been a long time. g

Thank you, Shireen! I am so grateful you’ve found value from this. I’ve resisted from sharing openly for a long time, so it is very re-assuring and validating to have like-minds to begin a new chapter in my life.

Blessings to you!

Choose always with Love and Heaven shall reveal on
Earth.. This is our Beautiful Truth. We are here to shine
our Love forward – This is our Purpose for Being.

To ’shine our love forward’, indeed. I like how you’ve expressed it. As it was shown to me, we are the extension of light (love) and as we clear away our ego’s mis-creations, we extend purely the love flowing into and within us and out unto all of life. The sacred hoop fulfilled. You have summed it up quite eloquently! Thank you so much for visiting and sharing, Gena. Blessings to you!

I always believe in seeing the ‘light’ of life. And your poem has said it all. You are a sage. And I’m honored to be your friend. Cheers to our friendship as I do with my music…..

Greetings Doc. Remy!

Thank you so much for visiting! I am honored to be your friend also. We’re all in this marvelously grand journey of life together. So lovely it is when that recognition is acknowledged through friendship. Thank you!!

I sincerely appreciate your compliment. For me, the reflection of empirical experience is of more import than opinion, speculation, theory, conjecture or hypothesis. I realize, however, what I may conclude as truth today, may tomorrow be found as limited understanding. Therefore I am simply someone who chooses to awaken ;-)

Blessings and Love to you, Dear Friend!

On light…

Peering into the box

She saw the moment of her birth

And as she gazed upon the light in the box

she knew all at once

She saw light

And More Light

She saw bare feet

and gone-to-seed dandelions

a pre-pubescent pony-tailed tree-climbing tomboy

blowing dandelion seeds into the air

spreading dandelion cheer

She saw stray cats giving birth

under the Oak tree in her back yard,

a cardboard-box bed lined with towels

She saw groundhog holes

and forts made with abandoned wood

tents and and flashlights and fireflies

She saw moonlight-midnight kickball games

She saw years

and books

and sketches of horses

She saw calligraphy sets and collages

and the Guinness Book of World Records

She saw the Loch-Ness Monster and Big Foot

She saw Moccasins

and Earth Shoes

peace signs and turquoise

Boyfriends

and Bare Feet

She heard Cat Stevens

and Springsteen

The Grateful Dead and Dylan

She felt the comfort of an oversized sweater

And arms surrounding her

She saw Communication Text Books

and Essays

and Poems

and Bare feet

She saw the pearl-puckered sleeves

of an ivory wedding dress

and a mischievous Dalmatian puppy

She saw baby booties, and breast feeding

Dr. Seuss and Sesame Street

car seats in station wagons and SUV’s

She saw broken bones

and broken little hearts

She saw tears

Many tears

She saw tricycles and bicycles,

skates and Lacrosse sticks.

She saw a 16 year-old Dalmatian

on his side on the floor

She saw tears

She saw Diplomas

And Cars

And She saw more tears

And then she saw trees again

and trails

books and collages

Hiking Boots

and Bare feet

She saw hunting dogs and streams

blogs and Writing Conferences

books and more books

an Apple lap-top

and contests

She saw light

Lots and lots of light

And she was back home

at the moment of her birth

Barefoot and Free

Full of possibility

And Being

What all along

She had been

and was meant

To Be

Gloria, thank you for such sharing!

The cycle of life, more a rising spiral; for we return to our innocence of ever-beginning, yet in elevated awareness with which to surely appreciate and apply, our re-birthing. As Kahlil Gibran so poetically put it… “forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair.” We may have forgotten, yet now we remember; that’s a good thing :-)

Blessings and Love,
Marc
